Storefront Manager (Part-time)

About Us:
Main St. Mercantile Co. is a holistic, community-focused retail store offering
wellness products, herbal remedies, and goods from over 20 local vendors. We’re
looking for a reliable and experienced Storefront Manager to help lead our team
and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:
 Manage daily storefront operations and employee scheduling
 Open/close the store, handle cash drawer, and complete bank deposits
 Receive and restock deliveries; maintain inventory and reorder supplies
 Input new products and update pricing in the SwipeSimple POS system
 Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and a welcoming environment
 Oversee staff performance, delegate tasks, and provide feedback
 Train new employees and promote a positive team dynamic
 Communicate with vendors about product inventory, issues or events
 Support promotions, gift basket creation, and seasonal displays
 Coordinate with social media team and loyalty program setup
 Monitor customer orders and pickups
 Handle basic bookkeeping: daily cash logs, employee records, and reports
 Represent the business in community outreach and local events

Qualifications:
 Previous retail management or leadership experience (required)
 Strong customer service and cash-handling skills
 Interest in holistic health and herbal wellness (preferred)
 Organized, dependable, and self-motivated
 Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
 Ability to lead a team and work independently
 Comfortable using POS systems and basic computer programs
