Licensed Social Worker (LSW)

Highland District Hospital is currently seeking a FT Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in our Case Management Department. This person assists patients and families in restoring social, emotional, and financial functions related to illness and disability using a wide variety of techniques and resources, they work in collaboration with the Case Managers with primary responsibilities related to family dynamics, relationships, adjustment problems and complicated community referrals. Social Workers provide services to populations of all ages in all areas of the hospital – Medical/Surgical, Emergency Department, and Outpatient Clinics – and to those community walk-ins or call-ins who are seeking assistance and/or referrals.
